Kylie Grace entered the world via csection as scheduled on April 17, 2003. We arrived at the hospital at 9:30am for an 11:30 surgery time. At 9:45 my OB was calling and saying she was ready whenever I was. So they rushed to finalize paperwork, IV, and prep for surgery. On the way to the OR I began to get very nervous even though this would be my third csection this was my first to be awake. They placed a warm blanket on me and I calmed down enough for the spinal block to be placed. My legs immediately became numb and I was strapped down and given oxygen. Kevin was allowed in the OR after this and the surgery began. I couldn't feel the cutting of the skin but I did feel them taking Kylie out. I was very anxious to hear the crying of my little miracle and once I heard her I couldn't hold back the tears of joy. Four years of heartache and pain were all washed away with Kylie's birth. My little angel in heaven 4-17-01 was watching over little sister and Mom that day.

Kylie entered the world at 11:05am. She weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Yes she is petite but oh so precious. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect baby.
